Wonderful stuff goind on in this community. I just wanted to say that.

Two artists on this site are in very real danger of losing their home in less than two weeks unless a miracle can be pulled off.

I know things are tough all over. maybe you think there's not much you can do. Ten bucks is ten bucks, people. And enough ten bucks adds up to a lot more.

If you can't donate, then please repost. I don't have a whole lot of people who follow my page, but maybe you do. Maybe one of your watchers can help, and then they can repost, and so on and so on.

well, it's all over but the crying. Almaphia and Rhogart's wedding was wonderful. I was still sewing only hours before the ceremony, and the snafus were endless, but in the end everything went off beautifully.


I consider this a personal best - 16 outfits, including the bridal gown, completed by hand in 30 days. That's going on my resume!!

I wanted to say to everyone here on DA and elsewhere who gave so much of their time and talent to make this wedding happen -

You guys are fantastic! The outpouring of love that all of you put forward for these two people made a fairytale come true. That just doesn't happen every day. We don't always get our happy ending, no matter how hard we try or how badly we want it. But you guys...you made the happiest day of their lives all that much happier by your efforts.

Over the next few weeks, there will be videos and pics from the wedding available for you to view. You should watch them all. you should see, with your own eyes, what a wonderful thing you have done for these people. And you should be proud. It only takes a small effort to make a difference in someone's life. All of your efforts made a dream come true.

Never forget what a wonderful thing you have done. And if you find yourself in the position to contribute to someone else's dream, do not hesitate. Remember the joy you brought to two people you have never met.

We all deserve a happy after ever. Even if it's not as easy as it seems. of course, to quote Almalphia's favorite movie -

"I don't believe in happy endings, because nothing ever ends."

sooooo...uh here I am. that's it. That's all I got.

No, really I've been working on the dresses and suits for Almalphia and Rhogart's wedding. I also have two other commissions due around the same time and just took on a new client Sunday. I have two films and a webseries going into production in the next two months as well as an editorial photo shoot. I'm a little brain dead right now.

But I saw the journal thing and thought, "well, maybe I should say something to anyone who happens across my DA page".
